Andrew Wong is a PhD student in the Rock Lab. He studies chemical-genetic interactions in the pathogenic mycobacteria, identifying mechanisms by which mycobacteria regulate their susceptibility to antibiotics and how we can better treat mycobacterial infections. Hailing from Canada, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto with a specialist in Microbiology and a minor in Immunology. Outside of science, Andrew enjoys discovering new restaurants and going to live performances.
