Molly Liu was one of the founding members of PRISM and was a graduate student in Leslie Vosshall's Laboratory of Neurogenetics and Behavior, studying what about the way we look that mosquitoes find attractive. As an undergraduate, Molly collected oral histories from queer alumni for Closeted/Out in the Quadrangles: A History of LGBTQ Life at the University of Chicago and interned at Affinity Community Services, a Chicago South Side organization advocating for Black LGBTQ women and youth; currently, they volunteer as a rape crisis advocate at Bellevue Hospital. Out of lab, they cuddle a good cat and draw comics in Astoria, Queens. Through PRISM, Molly was really excited to help make science a better place for LGBTQ+ folks!
